Hi
I have fitted my SASY and I think that no respectable VMAX should be
without a shift light, it works fantastic!
The boost limiter gives you peace of mind as it protects your motor
The instant V boost switch is a very nice extension of the unit
Thank you very much for a well designed and compact unit.

Barry,
Just a note to thank you for your outstanding service re the delivery of the unit.
You may remember that my V Max was at the dyno tuners when I ordered it and I was keen to take delivery within two days so that my tuner could fit it and set it up. You had to customize the mounting bracket to fit on the handlebars as my steering damper takes up all the space in front of the instrument panel. Even so you got it here express post and on time.
As the photo shows, it fits fine where it is and it is easy to see the boost light actuate.
The unit itself is probably the best value add on that I have purchased. The effect is outstanding.
I normally leave the controller set at the standard 6000 cut in but routinely use the instant boost button for extra acceleration when needed.
It is nearly as much fun as a nitrous button and far more controllable.
Everybody with a V Max should have a fitted before they spend money on other power mods.
Two photos attached.
Thanks again,
Ross Tubnor

Last week I had my set to come on at 4500 rpm's. I raced a V-Rod from a stop light. I really got into the race. My Max CREAMED the V-Rod. I sincerely believe the had a lot to do with how BAD I BEAT the V-Rod. With the I could kick my V-Boost in sooner, get more power quicker, and make the Max even more AWSOME than it is stock.
The is the BEST item I have put on my Max, and I have plenty of after-market items on my Max. It is a ‘SHOW AND GO’ Max, and the REALLY MAKES IT GO!
Any VMax owner who loves the V-Boost is crazy if they don’t get the with all the great features it has!!!
I love my !
I sincerely want to Thank you guys for inventing the , it is the Best product I have ever purchased for my VMax. I have a 98 VMax with many custom parts, both show and go and I would give every one of them up before giving up my !!!
You can even give my e-mail address for anyone who wants to contact me about the and all my great experiences on my VMax since I got it from you.

Hello Barry,
Well bloke, what can I say, I'm smitten; the is the dog's bollocks. It releases the engine's full potential as well as giving a more flexible power range. And it's great having Boost on tap with the instant feature; a bit like the thrust of a jet on take off. By adjusting the rpm and rev. limiter settings you can have a mayhem band within the programmed rev range. Set it up to match your mood - Jekyll or Hyde.
I set the V Boost to come in at 45 for distance runs. 4500 revs in 5th is around our speed limit of 70 mph, so it only takes a small throttle blip to get shifting. For day to day rides I set the to 30. It's not long before V Boost kicks in and you don't have to clamp on your sphincter muscles going into tight bends or roundabouts! The lower settings are brilliant for just letting rip; these settings are not for the faint hearted are they? There aren't many bikes that can match the performance surge and guys on the bikes that can are gob smacked at the Max's turn of speed.
Shell sell a fuel called V-Power over here (aptly named eh?). It's a higher octane level than standard so the performance is smoother all round. More expensive, of course, but it balances out through more miles per gallon.
I've got to uprate the suspension and brakes next - has Paul got any suggestions? I'm thinking progressive springs front and rear and replacement calipers with s/s lines all round; probably a strengthened clutch too.
You two really should market in Europe; it has no equal. As I said before I'm happy to promote it or let a prospective supplier try it out on my bike. Alternatively, a couple of gift loss leaders to the big VMax specialists would surely get you a result. C'mon now.
Can't remember what pic's of the bike I sent earlier so here's another batch, including some good close ups of the in situ and one of me tarting about.
Well be steady(ish) down there. Keep in touch and remember me if you need impartial reference or validation.
Dave.

Hi Barry,
I will ship it out today.
I finally had the installed on the VMax last weekend! I was worried that I wouldn’t like the way it looked on the bike, but I worried for nothing. It looks really cool! It is simply spectacular! I have been keeping it on the 6K setting and using the V boost button, though I am sure I will play with the options over the next several weeks to see what I like best! I absolutely love it! My last VMax had a stage 7 kit. I loved the power of the stage 7, but didn’t like how twitchy the throttle would be in turns and slower maneuvers. The is perfect! It gives me the power I crave and the control I need! It is without a doubt the best VMax improvement I’ve ever installed! It would be a bargain at twice the price!
Thanks again!
Yours truly,
Greg Savoie

Barry,
Got it last night. Looks great. I was not feeling well last night and went to bed early but could not stop thinking about putting the unit on my bike that I got up in the middle of the night and installed it! It looks like it is a stock piece due to the attention to detail with the design. I was able to hide most of the wiring and it looks like it is truely part of the riser instead of an add on. Now if I can only get outside and try it....
A bit later...
I did get out today and tried it. WOW is all I can say. It was like a
hyperspace button when I pressed the instant on. I will provide some more
comments w/picture soon. It is going to kill me to wait for the warm weather
here.....

I will gladly send comment as soon as I try it, but it won't be until April
or May. Morin Heights is in the Laurentians which is in Quebec, Canada, and
presently we are covered in snow. Our Group do not have a name, we're just a
bunch of guy's who love riding and getting together for fun.
I've never seen any body in my region with a but some do have a T-Boost.
What's great about my region is that at 5 minutes from Morin Heights there's
a little town call St-Sauveur where motorcyclists meet in the summer, and if
does what it's supposed to do don't worry I'll make sure you get the
right publicity.
I've been riding a bike for over 20 years, and have been riding 15 years on
a VMax.
Until I send you a picture from next summer here's one of me and my Max from
last summer
Thanks a lot and I can't wait to try your product !
best Regards
Yves - 15/1/2007
Thanks Yves. It's great to have someone keen enough to put up a comment before he gets his ... we look forward to your feedback once you have tried it.

Hi Barry,
The is Great !! specially the Instant VBoost button ! it's just fun to move
the boost around depending on your mood of the day !!!!
I recommend the product to everyone who would like a quick installation
for great improved performance at low RPM.
Thanks again !

I have a 2001
VMax and have checked on several upgrades and modifications for the Bike.
The last time I looked for VBoost option was this wiring harness toggle
switch Rigging that I was not Impressed with. So I looked into a
supercharger which was too much and threatens the life of the engine. Then I
stumbled onto your site and the controller. Like everybody else I was
Impressed. It was easy to install and easy to operate. The design and
performance and the Blue leds is Incredible. To me the experience is like
being shot out of a canon with it fully on. It is also nice to be able to
adjust and totally shut off when you want it. I would like to thank Barry
Sexton on the response time after ordering and email of shipment. It was
only 4 business days to receive it. There are not many companies left that
show this kind of customer service and Quality of product Like you do. Oh
by the way the picture has my Daughter Julia sitting on the Max - Dreaming
of course for her chance to feel the Experience Someday.
Thank you

Hi there .. Love the . It works just
great.... I live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada... I have a 1997 VMax in
the garage and drove the Hell out of it for 5 years
until I blew my crankshaft for the second time... I have an average of 3 to
4 tires a year.
Now I have a 2004 V-max I bought it new in April 2004. The first year
I put
on 12,000 km. And year two I put on 20,000.km.. I'm up to 36,000km now in
2006.....
Anyway I've got a problem with TOO much fuel..... I have
installed a stage 7 jet kit + individual K&N air filters It all works
good. My problem is @ 6500 rpm it choke's when running any amount of
VBoost I like to run full on boost for sound and powerful takeoff's. With
the boost off I can run full throttle till redline or in 0.3 km get to
160km in three gears not bad I think..
So I'm thinking you should add an additional button on the to run the
stage 7 jet kit. For example when on 7 it will be full on till about 3500
rpm the have it go to full off to complete my redline. Or another light to
indicate the reverse operation on the unit ... and set my off boost
rpm.. i.e. 18 24 and so on..
Right now when I want to race it I have to turn the boost off but
I lack in
the launches.. Or I forget and loose to my buddies I love the effective use
of the to turn on the boost. But an extra option to reverse what you
have already created would really help out the stage 7 users that don't want
to remove the VBoost valve.
Michael

From the Enhance Tech crew....
The NEW Instant VBoost button and the Rev Limiter feature can be used in combination to over come this issue now.
Please note that the Stage 7
kit can be removed (and sold) and standard jets re-installed for the . The
makes the Stage 7 kit, and anything else like it, obsolete.
The is a LOT less expensive too!!

Your product definitely liberated the Max (fav
setting is just on for loopy idle or 1800 -3,000 RPM for nice power
surges); most amazing performance enhancer for my Max. Yes, my bike is on
steroids now.

I cannot say enough good things about the .
I keep the boost on all the time because I have a Stage 7 jet kit in my bike
and it would run too lean if I didnt, but just having the option to change
it is the best. Thanks for taking care of my concerns so quickly. Everybody
that has a VMax should have one of these units. If they dont, they are
missing out on some fun times on their bike.

1999 2WE |
Hello
Boosters,
My name is
Tobias and I am a 27 year old VMax enthusiast from Germany. I’m driving a
1999 2WE (US-Version) with minor modifications yet.
Before I
ordered my , I contacted
Enhance
Tech
with a couple of questions and found out that they are a bunch of hard
working and very friendly people. So I didn’t hesitate to place my order on
Thursday, the 1st of September ‘05 and was very surprised to find
my already on Wednesday the 7th safely in my mailbox. It
took only 7 days from Australia to Germany; half around the world!!!
The came
in a neatly packed box (of course unscathed and intact) with a
colour-printed
version of the instruction manual (also available for download at
http://www.enhancetech.com.au/) and two
mounting ties.
The
installation took about 10 minutes (…in lack of equipment to remove the
handle bar clamps I decided to try the “simple”-option first…). The most
trying part was fiddling with the mounting ties until the was safely
attached to the handle bar. The rest really is plug’n’play! I switched the
ignition on and was surprised by the cool “knight-rider” show of the LEDs.
Especially turning the key in the dark is an impressive sight for the driver
and all onlookers. I selected the “18”-option for the rev-limiter, setting
the maximum to 9500 rpm (simply because that’s where the red zone starts and
I don’t see why I should stress the motor unnecessarily….) and then started
the engine. The switched to normal mode and I enjoyed the ride trying
all the settings. I have to admit that it is very tempting to play with the while driving, so I’m grateful for the security measure that disables
the functionality above 1200 rpm.
However my
personal favourite turned out to be the 4500 rpm option,
though all the represented options have their advantages.
Following reasons led to that decision:
1. While
slowly cruising through the city including a lot of stop-and-go, the boost
doesn’t turn on and off all the time.
2. Cruising
in 5th gear at a little above 100 km/h doesn’t activate the
boost, thus saving fuel (in Germany there’s a general speed limit of 100
km/h or 62 mph respectively on highways and country roads; only the Autobahn
allows full throttle legally ).
3. All the
time the boost-range is not far away, so with a short twitch of the right
hand, the full potential of the Max is released instantly, allowing safe
overtaking or persuasive showing off ;-) .
I was
positively surprised to find out that the “remembers” the settings, so
that once you have chosen a favourite combination you don’t have to adjust
it every time you are going for a ride.
Of course the
doesn’t add horsepower magically, but the subjective impression
definitely is that of a good deal of extra power. The LED indicating the
activation of the boost system and the raw exhaust sound caused by the boost
opened at low revs additionally increases the feeling of acceleration.
The definitely made riding my bike much more fun and I’m very glad that I‘ve
bought it!

Installed the this weekend. Pretty awesome! I had the T-boost
before that which I could only adjust between two options of 3,000 and
6,000 RPM. I love the variety of RPMs that have with your product. The
VBoost indicator light along with the REV limit light is an added bonus.
Now I feel I have the full effect of the VBoost like it should be. I'm
going to buy one for my brother as a gift I know he'll appreciate.
Attached you have a photo of my Max and I. Please include it on your
site. Thanks!

Hello, I'm Massimiliano Favretto, I came from
Trieste (Italy). I'm a VMOA member (nr. 3062).
In the past, I had a 1994 V-Max. Last year I decided to buy a new one. I
installed the on my new 2003 V-Max. I saw how easy it was to
assemble it, and that it was very easy to change the settings of
the V-Boost on. The is a very special object!!! I recommended it to
all the VMaxers, because it eliminates any other difficult modifications
(as "Stage 7", for example). I prefer to put it on 2400 rpm when I ride
alone, while I choose the 1800 rpm when I ride with a passenger, and I
close it (OFF setting) when it is raining. In my opinion, that is the better way to use
it.

Hi Enhance Tech
I have had my installed on my 95 V max now for five or six months now and wish to
report that it has worked flawlessly. It makes riding more fun and
retains the nice smooth idle. I like the 1800 rpm position a lot. I have
not been caught in the rain this year but it is nice to be able to
turn the v boost off if the roads are slippery. I have recommended the
to several people . Keep up the good work.

I
really enjoy having the ability to change the VBoost for different riding
profiles. I recommended it to all my friends but I hope they don’t get one
because then I’ll lose my racing advantage.
I
saw your ad in the VBoost Magazine and was very sceptical of buying the
unit. I think you should do a better job of describing your product. I
received the Sassy system and was very surprised when I saw the high quality
that you put into your product. It’s very rare to buy a product and get more
than you expect. I enjoy knowing when the VBoost is on by seeing the red
light and every time I start the bike the chasing LED lights remind me of
the old TV show “Knight Rider”.
I
thought it would take a long time to receive the unit (coming from
Australia) but was surprised to see the unit within a week. I received your
unit faster than most of the products I ordered in the States.

I have the installed on my 2003 V-max. It was a very simple process to
install it. It simply mounts to the handle bars. And it plugs into the
factory wiring of the VBoost (which is located under the left side
scoop). For the money, it made the most noticeable performance difference
than any other modification I have made. My VMax has supertrap slip-on
mufflers, dyno-jet stage 1 jet kit. It has a progressive suspension lowering
kit, factory windshield. The has great user controls. It allows the
rider to bring in all of the on-tap power of the VBoost system at wide
range of lower RPMs. Instead of having to wait for the factory 6000 rpm
range for the boost to KICK in. So if the rider wants to have the KICK YOU
IN THE BUTT feel of the VBoost to kick in at a lower RPM levels than the
factory pre-sets, all he has to do is a simple push of a button. GREAT for
LIGHT to LIGHT or BURN outs. Or any where bottom end response is a MUST.
Thank you for helping me tapping into the TRUE performance potential of
my VMax.
Thanks again......from

I
received my a few days ago and installation went smoothly. The manual
is easy to read and to the point It is a nicely made unit that looks sharpe
on the bike. There are a lot of settings you can use including turning the
VBoost off for slippery surfaces or just good mileage. I use the 1800rpm a
lot. This gives me smooth idle and the boost opens almost immediately. The
2500rpm setting adds excitement to your ride as it comes on with a burst of
acceleration.
Its much
more fun than just having it on all the time because you can feel it come on
with a burst of power no matter where you set the rpm. All in all it gives
you control and its easy to change the settings for different conditions.
There are no wires to cut or splice. I like that. Its also easy to see in
the daylight.
I am a
happy customer.
Its made my VMax more fun to ride.

Yeah, I am
the test bunny. We went through many different settings but the ones we
came up with after many hard hours on the road (tough isn't it but someone
has to do it!) seem to be the best we could find to suit most situations.
The lower settings are most interesting because when the VBoost comes in the
bike gets an instant surge of power which can be very interesting taking off
at lights or taking off around corners!! Once you get used to using the
at lower settings you find the bike 'lazy' at the normal setting.
My bike is
a standard 1992 model and I have not found any carburation flat spots in the
1800 and over settings. At always ON the bike runs rich at idle as you
would expect.
