  We recommend that any alterations made to a bike be followed by a professional tune up to maximise the performance for
  the configuration installed. If tuning with a installed set it to the 60 setting (normal).

Q;
Can I use a with a Jet Kit?
A;

The quick answer is Yes! But there is a difference in how you can use the while keeping the jet kit if the Vboost is still on the bike. If there is no VBoost then there is no point having a . Different kits give different results so there are a range of ways to deal with this.

- Depending on the Jet kit, you can use the to take over where the kit leaves off. Because there are a number of variations it is easier if you contact us at enquiries@enhancetech.com.au and tell us what you have and what you would like to do and we can give you the most appropriate advice to suit you.

- One solution is to remove the kit and sell it and go back to a standard VBoost and jets, re-tune the bike to normal and take full advantage of the fun and flexibility of the and the VBoost. Jet kits do not have settings so the performance is fixed. The , with its range of settings gives you a lot more control and fun with the performance under a variety of conditions. You can even turn it OFF for wet or slippery roads.

Jet kits are a lot more expensive than the and are not flexible. The is not only easily adjusted but has other great features like a Rev Limiter and a Shift Light as well  -  for a lot less money!!

Q;
Do I need to tune my bike to the ?
A;
No. You don't tune your bike to the SASY but if you do dynotune your bike make sure the is set to the 60 setting (normal 5730 operation). If you have added or removed any accessory that changes the bike's performance then it is a good idea to do a tune up. Then the and VBoost can take advantage of the full performance of the bike.

Q;
Do I need to change jet sizes?
A;
No. If you have a standard bike you don't have to do anything. If you have non-standard jets already see the first question above.

Q;
What if I have different exhaust pipes on the bike?
A;
This won't make any difference to using the VBoost with a

Q;
Do I need to tune the bike to the if I have a different exhaust or airbox?
A;
Basically No. But if you make changes to these then it is always a good idea to re-tune your bike, not for the , so that you get the most out of the bike overall. The is there to give you a lot of flexibility over the VBoost. If you do tune up your bike just set the to its "normal" setting of 60 (equivalent to 5730 RPM) for the tune up.

Q;
I want to up grade my ignition system, can I still fit a ?
A;
Yes you can. If it will make no difference to the VBoost it will make no difference to the as they handle the ignition signals the same way.

Q;
I have an electronic ignition system, like the Dyna 3000, can I still fit a ?
A;

Yes you can. We have investigated this issue with Dynatek and there is no problem in using a with these types of ignition systems.

It is well know that the Tboost and Zboost do not work with these ignition systems because of their design so once again the stands out as a leader in VBoost control with extra settings, Rev Limiter and Shift Light functions and the now famous Instant VBoost switch!

Q;
Can I use a without VBoost?
A;
No. The only controls the VBoost so what would be the point?

Q;
Will the change the VBoost startup test?
A;
No. The VBoost will operate normally - apart from the great differences the gives for the VBoost cut in RPM.

Q;
Do the lower settings cause a loss in performance because of a richer air/fuel mix?
A;
No. Because of the VBoost design the power increases dramatically - which is the whole point of the SASY - there might even be an increase in economy. Changes to economy depends on a range of factors and can not be guaranteed. Every bike is different, believe it or not!

BUT if the VBoost is ON at idle it can be very rough due to too much fuel in the mix, that is why we have the 18 (1800) setting so that idle is normal but as soon as you rev up a bit the VBoost comes on and away you go!!!
The ON setting is for those who like or don't mind the rough idle.

Q;
Does the make the Vmax run qicker?
A;
YES!! With the lower settings below 6000 RPM the can give you a lot more power sooner, just like the VBoost does above 6000RPM normally. Like some people have noticed - it's like going into Hyper Space!!

Q;
What years of the Vmax does the work on?
A;
The works on all models of the Vmax. If you have VBoost you can have the and get all the excellent benefits it has to offer without spending a fortune like you do on many other mods. It is absolutely the best value for money for a performance mod. Even if we do say so ourselves!!
